At Arkansas Oral Surgery, we're passionate about creating smiles that last a lifetime. We're looking for an experienced

Oral Surgery Assistant

to assist in oral surgery procedures to ensure the highest quality of care is provided. If you're a motivated team player with a dental or oral surgery assisting background, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

Prepares all treatment rooms in advance for each patient. Changes all chemical solutions, i.e., disinfectant soaks and sprays, sterilants, ultrasonic, presoak. Handles hazardous chemicals in a safe manner. Seats patients in designated treatment rooms in a timely fashion. Reviews medical history, progress from the previous visit, if applicable, and the scheduled treatment plan with each patient. Take x-rays prescribed by the provider. Assists the doctor in all oral surgery procedures by passing instruments, aspirating intra-oral fluids, mixing materials. Performs other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA Graduate of an accredited dental assistant program CPR certification 1+ years of dental assisting experience preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable with computers and dental software systems A respectful, team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
