Clinical Oral Surgery Assistant

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care to patients. Assisting doctors and other assistants in surgery. Obtain pano and PA xrays, and cone beam CT scans. Educate patients and family members about pre-op instructions and post-op care. Maintain a clean, sterile environment, including instruments. Maintain an inventory of surgical supplies. Some front office duties as needed, including answering phone calls, filing, and verifying insurance benefits. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

High school graduate (required) CPR & BLS (required) X-ray certification (required) Dental experience (required) Oral surgery experience (helpful) Medical experience (helpful) ACLS (encouraged) AAOMS surgical anesthesia assistant certification (encouraged)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
