The Manager Operations, Learning & Development, will report to the Chief Learning Officer, and will be responsible for managing financial resources for Global People Development and the end to end project planning of all strategic upskilling learning solutions, in alignment with the corporate learning strategy.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Partners and consults with Global people Development CoHRE leads, Central Business Services (CBS) and the extended Learning team to lead the project management for the annual and on-going training plan

Leads the development of annual learning resource planning to support global execution and meet the needs of global stakeholders

Partners with the Learning team to provide project design, planning, oversight, and implementation of all learning solutions, initiatives and special projects.

Supports the execution of learning initiatives by ensuring optimal allocation of resources and overseeing the development of project plans

Work closely across all groups to develop a fully integrated framework to establish a streamlined work-flow process

Defines and leads the measurement of KPIs for the global learning organization

Owns, gathers and analyzes metrics to evaluate process and project efficiency

Anticipates roadblocks, researches issues and recommend corrective measures to learning leadership

Prioritizes learning process improvement projects and their requirements

Monitors progress of learning process improvement projects against timelines and ensure that deadlines are met appropriately

Coordinates and facilitates the delivery of project objectives

Overseas the Vendor management process with the CBS Vendor Management specialist

Owns the Grid review meetings and provides status updates to various audiences, including governance and management meetings, on the progress of projects

Initiate and track all follow-up activities emerging from project meetings

Proactively identify issues in need of attention and works with the project teams to address them

Manages budget and project financials with a focus on optimizing efficiency and effective use of resources

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Project Management experience in relevant space

Proficiency in Project management tools managing and applying a variety of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

Bachelor\'s degree

Knowledge of operations management and process improvement approaches, concepts, and tools

Proven experience using industry and organization standards, procedures, and policies relevant to learning and development

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Solid influencing, negotiation and facilitation skills with the ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with leaders, peers, and other team members

Knowledge of change management methods and techniques

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in working with Training and Learning organizations

Experience in managing projects and initiatives globally

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or similar certification)

Organizes work efforts by prioritizing tasks, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery

Experience outsourcing or offshoring operational services or managing outsourced services

Ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals and teams potentially located around the world

Prior experience managing budgets preferred

Salary Range $140,000 - $157,000

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package
