Wright Patterson Airforce Base !! Operations Management Analyst Clearance: Secret or ability to obtain a Secret On-site Responsibilities:

  • Interact with lateral organizations or any external agencies required including base facility, personnel, security, computer support, foreign disclosure, foreign travel, public affairs and the building managers to facilitate uninterrupted day-to-day operations of the organization.
  • OM point-of-contact for the organization.
  • Identify, analyze, and evaluate actual and/or potential problem areas in OM activities, drawing from trend data and knowledge of the organization.
  • Keep senior management informed of progress of programs and advises of any significant developments that may impact mission.
  • Provide appropriate recommendations for unresolved or questionable problems and perform follow-up.
  • Shall research and determine or recommend appropriate actions or interpretation of issues that impact the organization.
  • Provide instructions and training to staff members and action officers on procedures for proper submission and tracking of staff packages in MS SharePoint and the SOCCER systems.
  • Responsible for tracking and ensuring OM suspense\xe2\x80\x99s, electronic staff summary sheets (eSSS), staff packages, operating instructions, and awards.
  • Ensure all related OM suspense\xe2\x80\x99s (MIS/IT, Facilities, Resources, Training, Awards, Manpower, Safety, Security, etc.) are conducted within required timeframes.
  • Perform self-inspections and present detailed and comprehensive reports with any corrective actions taken or required.
  • Ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies.
  • Advise and assist with the revision of policies and procedures as needed to find ways to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency of work.
  • Advise and assist the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with other base organizations, senior leadership, chiefs, and representatives from other military services, DoD agencies, and related organizations regarding services provided.
  • Meet with key customers and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve significant problems that arise.
  • Ensure subordinate groups within the organization are provided customer guidance and training.
  • Support special projects and initiatives and perform special assignments. Support includes identifying the need for special projects and initiating milestones and goals.
  • Evaluate reports by analyzing facts, perform appropriate research and prepare detailed responses.
  • Monitor and evaluate activities to determine compliance with applicable regulations, directives, procedures, and policies.
  • Review policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organization design for the staff and suggest revisions as necessary to eliminate work problems, barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, and implement quality improvements in response to concerns with regulatory compliance, and/or customer requirements.
  • Support administrative tasks as necessary to support OM functions. These tasks include: tracking manning and preparing organizational charts; data entry functions; integrating information into required reports; generation and maintenance of training requirements, files, forms and established file plans; processing mail; (receive, sign for, and distribute unclassified mail, and access, store, and handle classified material as required); preparing correspondence (both classified and unclassified); management and operation of facsimile equipment.
  • Assist with ordering of office supplies by gathering requests from customers, preparing, and itemizing various lists of supplies/equipment to be ordered by the Government.
  • Assist in the planning, formulation, editing, development, and publication of finished products, e.g., program documentation, plans, directives, reports, briefings, and other presentations, as required (technical and non-technical; classified and unclassified) in the media and format requested.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining master files and file plans of program data (both classified and unclassified), to facilitate tracking and resolution of issues associated with operations.
  • Assist in retrieving data/information in the form of queries and reports; assist in the maintenance of tracking systems for identifying deficiencies, recommending corrective actions/closures, and preparing documentation for Government review and approval.
Qualifications:
  • BA/S and three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with the following systems/processes AFRIMS, Resource Management Information System (RMIS), and SIP
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $74,283.00 - $82,782.00 per year Benefits:
