JOB SUMMARY:

This is an Operations Review Specialist position in the Department of Revenue\'s Child Support Program Operational Procedures and Training process. The position is an excellent fit for self-motivated, logical thinkers with excellent writing, proofreading, editing, and time management skills. This is a highly responsible and advanced level position requiring independent judgment with little supervision. If you enjoy working with others to develop quality procedures and related material to help others understand child support services and how to use the Program\'s system, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:

  • Using technical writing skills to make complex information clear and easy to understand.
  • Writing procedures, forms, and job aids using MS Word, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proofreading and editing documents for proper grammar, spelling, formatting, accuracy and logical content flow.
  • Managing multiple assignments with competing priorities and deadlines, with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop procedures, job aids and forms.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Technical writing experience or experience writing, editing and proofreading professional documents.*
  • Experience managing multiple assignments simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
SUBSTITUTIONS:

PREFERENCES:
  • Preference may be given to candidates with experience with MS Office, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat or other publishing tools.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with Child Support Program Operational experience.

SALARY: $43,151.16 - $51,583.08
