Job Description


TRC seeks a full time onboarding specialist for a leading manufacturer in the Savannah area.

Job Summary:
As an Onboarding Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and successful transition for new employees as they join our organization. You will be responsible for implementing our client\'s comprehensive onboarding programs, providing guidance and support to new hires through all required pre-employment requirements, and fostering a positive and engaging experience that facilitates their integration into the company. You will work with our client\'s HR and legal team to insure a smooth and Complient process. Your focus will be on creating a welcoming environment, assisting with administrative tasks, providing guidance on any questions/issues on pre-employment tasks, and promoting the company culture.

Responsibilities:
Uphold our Client\'s onboarding program that aligns with the organization\'s goals and values.
Coordinate and execute the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing necessary paperwork, collecting required documentation, and facilitating a seamless transition.
Serve as the main point of contact and provide a warm and friendly welcome to new hires, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported from day one.
Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures, benefits, and resources, promoting a comprehensive understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and department managers, to ensure that all necessary equipment, systems access, and workspace arrangements are in place prior to new employees\' start dates.
Provide ongoing guidance and support to new employees, answering questions, addressing concerns, and serving as a resource throughout the onboarding process.
Continuously assess and improve the onboarding process by soliciting feedback from new hires, tracking key metrics, and implementing enhancements to enhance the overall experience.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Stay informed about industry best practices and trends related to employee onboarding and retention, incorporating innovative ideas and strategies into the onboarding process.

Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience supporting onboarding for a manufacturing environment that has hourly and salaried employees.
Proven experience in employee onboarding, HR administration, or a similar role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with new hires and team members.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws, ensuring compliance during the onboarding process.
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling employee documentation and records.
Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate the unique needs and preferences of different employees.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues or challenges during the onboarding process.
