The role you\xe2\x80\x99ll contribute: Responsible for the direction and management of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s journey to excellence in patient care and work environment, aligned with evidenced based American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet or Pathway Programs. Works in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and to establish a vision for nursing excellence grounded by the AdventHealth Nursing Professional Practice Model. Program direction and management includes support of activities, structures, and processes that promote an optimal work environment for professional nurses and inter-professional members, resulting in outstanding patient care outcomes and nurse engagement. An understanding of the required standards and performance improvement strategies will be required. Strategies include assessment of workflow-related processes, research, criteria development, measurement, and evaluation.

• Facilitates the implementation and enculturation of the AdventHealth Professional Practice Model and Care Delivery System for Clinical Care Services utilizing an interdisciplinary structure to support both. The Program Manager works to elevate the practice of nursing and other clinical staff by educating, developing, and involving them in the decision-making process to govern their own practice and development. The role serves to lead, develop, and educate key stakeholders and clinical teams to build a model that enhances and defines professional nursing practice and shared decision making across the facility and support enterprise nursing ecosystem. This position is critical to the integration of quest for

excellence and clinical professional practice structures, processes, and outcomes at AdventHealth Hendersonville. By the implementation of this role, the expected depth and breadth of professional nursing practice will be enhanced and reach national recognition.

• In addition, the Program Manager will:

• Demonstrate an overall understanding of ANCC Magnet or Pathways and its impact within the

organization.

• Demonstrate transformational leadership qualities by instilling vision and guiding nurses to embrace

change for improved outcomes.

• Model and influence professional nursing practice development to promote autonomy and exemplary

professional practice. Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to succeed:

\xc2\xb7 Education:

\xc2\xb7 Degree: bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in nursing, or currently enrolled.

\xc2\xb7 4 Years of progressive nursing leadership, education, or program management experience.

\xc2\xb7 Credential: North Carolina or Compact State Registered Nurse License

\xc2\xb7 Credential: Nursing Specialty Certification
