Job Description

Position: .NET Developer (Hybrid)
Location: Lansing, MI
Duration: 12 Months
Work Arrangement: Local candidates only (within 90 minutes of Lansing). Hybrid role with 2 days onsite per week. No remote-only option.
Interview Process: Candidates must be willing to interview onsite in Lansing. A screenshot photo will be required for interviews, and a vendor will be present at the start of any MS Teams interview for candidate validation.

This role supports the client as a Programmer Analyst 6, working within an Agile environment. The developer will contribute to writing, testing, and implementing code based on user stories and requirements.

Top Required Skills:

5+ years with .NET Core 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred) and C#. 5+ years developing RESTful services or Web APIs. 5+ years of SQL experience, including complex Select/Insert/Update queries. 3+ years developing code that supports document uploads via web applications. 5+ years working in Agile/SCRUM and participating in sprints. 5+ years working with GIT. 5+ years developing unit and regression tests. Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. Experience in the Financial domain.
Nice-to-Have Skills:

Secure coding practices (XSS prevention, SQL injection prevention, logging). 3+ years with Azure DevOps/TFS (boards, repositories). Familiarity with Oracle databases. Understanding of design patterns. Experience with SendGrid. Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards. Experience integrating with IdPs using OIDC or SAML. Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar SDLC tools. 3+ years of React.js experience
