The Marketing & National Events Coordinator will report to the Marketing Manager and Vice President of Business Development & Pre-Construction
Job Overview
FCL Builders is looking for a Marketing & National Events Coordinator to organize the company\xe2\x80\x99s events throughout the year. The position will be responsible for every aspect of events, from liaising with venues and industry associations to evaluating success after the event has completed. Additionally, the position assists in the creating and maintaining of marketing-related information and materials critical to sales proposals and qualification statements.
Responsibilities and Duties
National Events:
Strategically plan and execute event details to represent FCL at regional and national events, professional meetings, conferences, and all other events FCL hosts
Establish and maintain relationships with host organizations, i.e. NAIOP, Bisnow, SIOR, etc., to complete all tasks for sponsorships
Responsible for communicating timelines and logistics of each event to the FCL team ensuring they have all marketing and promotional materials
Create marketing materials and signage consistent with FCL image and coordinate new event materials with graphic designer, as needed
Assist with onsite activation for large corporate events
Communicate with each region about local events and potential opportunities
Maintain industry event calendar
Measure ROI of each event, connect with each rep to create event recaps and analyze the success of the event
Marketing/Business Development:
Works with Business Development team and Estimating team to compile information for bid proposals
Designs and assembles statements of qualifications (SOQs) for new customers
Creates and updates FCL employee resumes and project profiles to be included in bid proposals
Updates CRM database with customer and project information as needed
Works with outside promotional sales representatives to order promotional items for internal (stock, company online store) and external use (conference giveaways)
Updates company Intranet and related objects on the site
Other duties as requested by leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, hospitality management, public relations, business or relevant field
2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a marketing, sales or events role
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and online customer databases
Communication skills needed for coordination of events with national team and vendors
Well-organized with ability to problem-solve, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
