Position: Admissions and Marketing Coordinator (Bilingual) Summary Reporting directly to the Campus Director, the Admissions and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative duties. These duties include: Representing Admissions Marketing at campus-wide events for future marketing/promotional material, coordinating and recording student testimonials, managing the production and distribution of marketing materials, aiding in the creation and implementation of admissions marketing email, text, social media campaigns, etc., and maintaining relationships with vendors and campus colleagues. Duties and Responsibilities Admissions 1. Updates and maintains bulletin boards and brochure racks 2. Develops and fosters relationships with students and parents through on campus recruiting activities and events. 3. Takes walk-in and scheduled admissions appointments with new students to help them get started at the college. 4. Assists with general advising of new students and discusses programs with prospective students. 5. Maintains general knowledge of college activities, programs and requirements. 6. Makes frequent presentations to groups of prospective students to inform and educate them to the educational opportunities available. 7. Advises and conducts tours for prospective students and their families. 8. Assists with direct mail, telephone and email follow-up with student prospects and applicants. 9. Attends meetings, conferences, and workshops to stay updated on issues relating to admissions; attends college meetings and serves on college committees as needed. 10. Coordinates new student orientation program and campus wide recruiting events 11. Works closely with college personnel, including faculty, counseling, and student services staff so as to ably communicate college programs, admissions requirements, financial assistance, and other essential information to interested parties 12. Works with the Career Services & Student Life Officer and Bursar/Registrar offices with the international student program. 13. Maintains general knowledge of college activities, programs and requirements. 14. Performs other related tasks as required Marketing 1. Represents Mech-Tech Institute Admissions department at campus-wide events for future use of promotional materials, i.e. photographs, student testimonials, etc. 2. Assists in the creation and implementation of admissions marketing email, text, social media campaigns. 3. Assists in writing and creating market copy and content. 4. Coordinate all aspects of student testimonials, interviews and photography. 5. Proofs and edits deliverables according to established guidelines. 6. Executes goals and strategies identified in strategic planning as they pertain to recruitment, promotion, communication, and outreach. 7. Manages the production and distribution of marketing materials for the admissions department. 8. Manages admissions promotional-items inventory, i.e. print pieces, table banners, take- aways, etc. 9. Develops relationships with vendors as necessary to develop and implement the department\xe2\x80\x99s 10. marketing plan. 11. Advises department about communication tools, messages, and approaches to marketing 12. initiatives. 13. Provides marketing advice and direction to assist in promoting programs and events. 14. Builds relationships with clients to encourage growth and effectiveness of programs and activities 15. Generates brochures, posters, invitations, programs and other forms of advertising to promote the programs. 16. Tracks metrics and prepares reports for leadership. Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Business or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in admissions marketing or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access.
  • Experience writing, proofing social media copy.

Conditions of Employment \xe2\x97\x8f Employees in this job title are subject to the terms and conditions of an employment contract. Working Conditions and Physical Effort \xe2\x97\x8f No or very limited physical effort required. \xe2\x97\x8f No or very limited exposure to physical risk. \xe2\x97\x8f Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year Schedule:
