Key Responsibilities:

Multi Media / eLearning Developer duties include, but are not limited to the design, development, documentation, configuration management, project management, and production of eLearning for Tech Ops training. This includes any graphics, audio, animation and video included in the training. eLearning Developer must be highly skilled in: editing audio, video and photos; advanced level of graphic design; instructional design concepts and techniques, and usability testing. Applicant must be excellent at written communication, script writing, and storyboard development, including designing and building engaging interactions to enhance user comprehension and retention. Content is highly regulated by the FAA, IATA and other regulatory organizations, and content must adhere exactly to specific requirements. The training developed must follow the script and/or storyboard provided, United branding guidelines, and Maintenance Training standards to ensure a common user experience across courses. However, eLearning Developer is expected to creatively implement the ideas and interactions within the storyboard to create a high quality product that also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Work independently using text, video, audio, screencasts, and images to build interactive eLearning courses in Storyline based on detailed storyboards
  • Edit and create triggers to ensure course functions as needed in the user environment, and follow publishing requirements needed for our Learning Management System
  • Create and edit content based on existing policies and procedures in collaboration with Subject Matter Authorities using ISD and ADDIE methodologies
  • Work with United\'s Learning Management System to post courses, build curricula, and monitor/maintain employee records and completion/status reporting
  • Participate in testing and troubleshooting courses in pre-Production and Production environments to ensure they meet the specified criteria
  • Communicate regularly via in-person meetings, email, phone, Skype or other online tools on project status, change requests, or issues regarding courses, media, design etc. to ensure correct course content as well as consistency within the Maintenance Training curriculum
  • May perform other job duties as directed by leadership or team members

Salary range: $68,770-$100,870

Qualifications

What\xe2\x80\x99s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelor Degree in instructional systems design, training/curriculum development, education, HR performance management or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of:
  • Design, development, and testing of eLearning courses
  • Leading multiple projects, multi-tasking and time management with limited supervision/direction
  • Writing and editing highly technical training materials
  • Designing learning experiences including scenarios and stories that illustrate a process and/or elicit an emotional response that connects students with the content
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
