We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant to support our team/office with mortgage brokering/origination. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset and be willing to learn the fundamentals of the mortgage process. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while adhering to Fair Housing regulations.
Responsibilities
Assist in the loan origination process by gathering necessary documentation from clients.
Assist in processing loans efficiently, maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the workflow.
Collaborate with loan officers to facilitate communication between clients and financial institutions.
Reconcile various systems post-closing to ensure data integrity.
Manage office by ordering office supplies, handling mailing, and keeping workplace clean.
Utilize basic math skills for calculations related to loan amounts, interest rates, and payment schedules.
Perform data entry tasks, including 10 key typing, to maintain accurate databases.
