Excellence The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing tasks related to building our Ultra High Purity Systems. This will include, but not limited to; manufacturing various sub-assemblies to engineering specifications, as well as assist with routing cables and conduit on our systems. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions. In this role you will:

• Ability to learn and understand standard and non-standard options per the Customer Data Sheets (CDS)
• requirements.
• Works from instructions, drawings, schematics, piping and instrumentation drawings, illustrations and process documentation to assemble a variety of mechanical, electrical subassemblies and systems with supervision.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to build sub-assemblies with supervision.
• Learn Cabinet Preparation by installing bracketing, piping insulation, and sub-assemblies with supervision
• Learn engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
• Performs routine, repetitive assembly operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
• Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments.
• Ability to work safely and recognize the safety of others.
• Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
• Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.
• Work with a team as well as independently when needed.

Traits we belive make a strong candidates:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience mechanical assembly and/or relevant experience.
• Ability to learn to navigate through operating system to find BOMs, drawings and instructions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.
• Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Focus on attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Ability to learn how to handle material responsibly.
• Dependability and flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business as-needed.
