We are searching for a Project Engineer in the Baltimore, MD area. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background with Solidworks experience. This is a direct-hire role with a growing company.
location: Joppa, Maryland

salary: $70,000 - 85,000 per year
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors
responsibilities:
- Manage the project lifecycle of modified standard machinery, defined as machines with proven designs that require a moderate level of modification to meet the needs of a customer part.
- Handle custom machinery, defined as machines without proven designs that require a high level of modification to meet the needs of a customer part.
- Handle research and development machinery, defined as machines not yet having been designed that require from scratch design work to meet the needs defined internally by the company.
- Develop and document electronic models in Solidworks for on-site manufacture of machinery.
- Creation of detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for procurement of components used in designs.
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 3 years of experience
