• Safety is E2 Optics number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures
• Ensure consistent execution of shipping, receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in materials
• Safely operate, transfer, and deliver freight using a forklift, pallet jack, two-wheeler, company vehicle, trailer, box truck, and/or other equipment
• Operate material handling equipment to load and unload materials safely
• Assist in managing company-owned and leased equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, telehandlers, pickups, trailers, UTVs, man-lifts, and scissor lifts
• Read and accurately follow material request orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, cycle counting, or inventorying materials
• Proactively maintain jobsite organization, basic housekeeping, and 5S strategies
• Organize materials, tools, and equipment; collect debris; and ensure hazardous conditions are abated, mitigated, or promptly addressed
• Understand tasks and apply continuous improvement tactics
• Comply with customer security requirements and guide others in security compliance
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic; wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures and programs
• Maintain accurate counts of physical inventory
• Provide excellent customer service as a liaison between E2 Optics and customers
• Lead the warehouse team and manage warehouse tasks to completion
• Assist with data collection, reporting, and document management
• The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel if required by E2 Optics

What We Are Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past 2 years
• Ability to listen carefully and follow instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals; basic math skills
• Demonstrated ability to be proactive and contribute effectively at the job site
• Positive attitude and ability to work on a team to achieve goals and objectives
• High attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as project requires
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Demonstrated team leadership abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate directly with clients in a professional manner
• General knowledge of collecting and reporting data
• Ability to organize and manage documents related to inventory and logistics

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight, confined spaces.
