POSITION: Marketing Specialist
REPORTING TO: Senior Director of Product Marketing
SCHEDULE 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday
LOCATION Flexible (remote or a hybrid schedule in one of Candid\xe2\x80\x99s offices in New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; Cleveland, OH; or Williamsburg, VA)
COMPENSATION $42,000 - $65,000 (this range is for the NYC area and will be adjusted for other localities; additionally, factors like skills and experience will be considered)

POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the successful implementation of customer lifecycle marketing campaigns and content contribution with the assistance of the Senior Director of Product Marketing. This role will assist in implementing successful product launches, content strategies, email marketing campaigns, acquisition and retention campaigns that drive registration and earned revenue to support both the social sector and mission of Candid. The goal is to deliver multi-channel marketing initiatives that articulate product value and meet brand and revenue objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans, both long term, and short term, to help achieve customer registration, acquisition, and retention for Candid\'s products.
  • Manage with assistance from Senior Director of Product Marketing all logistical components for promotions\xe2\x80\x94including cross-product promotions by coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders, managing the project calendar, and reporting on each promotion
  • Create and manage with assistance from Marketing, digital marketing campaigns for the Growth marketing team
  • Report campaign performance by preparing reports from multiple tracking and analytics sources.
  • Plan, develop and distribute email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders to plan and coordinate marketing activities to drive new registrations.
  • Create, implement, track, analyze, and optimize paid social advertising campaigns on social media platforms etc.
  • Plan and manage campaigns with the aid of the Senior Director of Product Marketing, provide tactical recommendations for the team and other stakeholders
  • Deliver analysis and insights to help optimize the Growth Marketing team initiatives.
  • Assist with blog content to support growth of products and brand.
  • Perform other duties and special projects to promote Candid\xe2\x80\x99s products, as needed/required.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Creative, flexible, energetic, highly organized, responsive, resourceful, optimistic, personable, and a quick study.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently alongside other initiative-takers in a goal-driven, fast-paced environment and with remote team members across time zones.
  • Ability to monitor and report on campaigns. Recommend strategic adjustments based on campaign performance. Experience in image editing using design software like Photoshop or Canva required.
  • Exceptional copywriting and copy-editing skills to create and edit impactful marketing materials that are on brand.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM and Marketing platforms. Knowledge of the social sector and some work experience in the sector preferred.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be detail-oriented, must be uncomfortable with breaking deadlines.
  • Communications or marketing college degree strongly preferred; equivalent marketing experience will also be considered.
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing.
  • Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested.
