Job Description


Summary

The Marketing Manager for the Hospital plays a vital role in Tenet\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s continued consumer-focused transformation. This position is responsible for executing marketing plans that foster growth for the network\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s hospitals, drive community engagement, and effectively communicate the value proposition of the hospital.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager collaborates closely with hospital CEO, group CSO, group CEO, Tenet Physician Resources (TPR) CEO, home office marketing team, hospital leadership team, and communications team, to implement marketing activities that support service line growth and enhance brand engagement.

This position also leads the implementation of the overall social media strategy across hospitals and channels, building strong relationships with internal and external teams, and representing the hospital/market to establish and maintain effective community engagement within the Tenet Strategic Marketing Group framework and vision, a component of the Tenet Operating System.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Align local marketing priorities with the growth priorities of the hospital and the strategic direction of the Palm Beach Health Network
  • Plan, implement marketing strategies, and manage hospital\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s marketing budget that supports overall strategy and growth, including media campaigns, advertising, sponsorships engagements, creatives, social media, internal and external communication.
  • Work closely with ad agency and CEO to ensure creative and impactful campaigns that enhance facility visibility and support hospital strategies.
  • Collaborates with the market team to implement marketing programs that offer key differentiators based on quality, service and/or outcomes, have measurable ROI and build better hospital/market brands through consistent messaging, differentiated value propositions and brand positioning within the market.
  • Utilize data and insights to understand media channel effectiveness for each service line and optimize marketing efforts accordingly.
  • Coordinate facility community outreach initiatives and events to effectively engage local community and key stakeholders to enhance brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with hospital marketing managers and hospital leadership to coordinate execution of large events and social media efforts, including content creation, promotional videos, and related activities, to drive consumer engagement and strengthen the hospital and network\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s online presence.
  • Partner with communications team on positive patient stories and earn media strategies.
  • Collaborate with the TPR team to develop physician ramp-up and media plans that align with overall marketing strategies.
  • Leads the business development marketing efforts to support service line growth.
  • Work closely with medical directors to gather feedback on marketing plans, ensuring alignment with their respective service lines and staying within budget constraints.
  • Proactively communicate to hospital leadership, key stakeholders, GMD and GCSO regarding marketing plans and results.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of hospital-based operations, service lines, physician relations, and continues to stay informed about business priorities and key initiatives to identify and translate successful marketing activations.
  • Utilizes advanced writing skills and effective story telling techniques across multiple platforms (e.g. social media, paid media, website, collateral) to engage the community, key stakeholders, and targeted consumers that results increased conversion rates.
  • Support the development and promotion of the Palm Beach Health Network brand, ensuring consistent messaging, and brand positioning across all marketing initiatives.
  • Supports and partners with the home office in the development of annual strategic marketing plans across all channels and paid media that drive growth, consumer engagement, and patient retention.
Qualifications

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a relevant major is required.
  • Advanced degree in business or public sector equivalent, marketing/communications, or health related field is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of progressive experience and responsibility for communications, brand management, and public relations, with a strong understanding of the business needs and competitive challenges of the industry (relevant to health care industry preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Demonstrated success and understanding in executing cross-channel marketing tactics to drive consumer engagement such as social and digital media, advertising and communications platforms, marketing automation/CRM, content creation, and website management.
  • Experience in analyzing marketing channel performance and leveraging insights to support business objectives and enhance market plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating compelling content across social media platforms as well as measuring results.
  • Proficiency in utilizing direct-to-consumer engagement and communications technology and tools, digital platforms, and social media.
  • A team player who successfully builds productive cross functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach and ability to manage multiple projects with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail, including effective ability to bring stories to life and engage consumers across traditional and non-traditional media.
  • Has a collaborative style which engenders the respect of others and can be best described as a leader, mentor, and a coach.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and working in a large, diffuse, highly matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of paid, earned and owned media integration, and an ability to partner and support the communications teams.
  • Flexible work expectations to adequately cover events and activities that may periodically occur outside of traditional business hours.
  • Experience with live social media environments and video content capture preferred.
