Job Description


Overview:
As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to attract new customers and generate leads. You will work closely with the sales team to identify target markets, develop marketing campaigns, and create content that resonates with our audience. You will also be responsible for tracking and analyzing campaign results to optimize performance and ROI. Responsibilities:
What you will be doing at XGS:

  • Develop and implement lead generation campaigns across various channels (e.g., email, social media, webinars, events, etc.) to reach target audiences and generate new business opportunities
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify target markets, buyer personas, and customer pain points, and develop targeted messaging and content to address them
  • Create and manage content marketing initiatives that educate and engage prospects and customers, including blogs, social media, and thought leadership pieces
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools and adjust campaigns as needed to optimize performance and ROI
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing collateral and sales enablement tools, including presentations, case studies, and onboarding literature
  • Manage and coordinate logistics for events and tradeshows, including pre-show planning, on-site execution, and post-show follow-up
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and best practices in marketing and lead generation
  • Assist with the preparation and management of departmental budget
  • Manage freelancers, contractors, and agencies as needed
Qualifications:
What we are looking for in an ideal candidate:
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on lead generation
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems. Experience with HubSpot a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Graphic design abilities either in Adobe Suite or Canva
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using data to optimize campaign performance and ROI
  • Experience with logistics or supply chain industries is a plus



XGS Working environment:


  • Hybrid-work environment or corporate office setting if local to Chattanooga, TN
  • Occasional travel and work outside of regular business hours for special events
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Climb stairs
  • Sit for long periods of time
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch
  • Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp, and manipulate objects
  • Manual dexterity in operating a computer and other office machines
  • Correctable vision and hearing
  • Clear and understandable speaking voice for the purposes of presenting and telephone communication
