Job Summary

Rogers Foam Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee our production processes and ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, optimizing production workflows, and leading a team of skilled professionals to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Oversee manufacturing operation including production, maintenance, planning, product quality, safety, on-time delivery etc. Analyze and provide solutions to manufacturing challenges or problems to ensure operations run smoothly, maintain product quality and process efficiency. Oversee the hiring, orienting, and training of production employees to ensure a competent workforce. Evaluate employee's performance and give suggestions for improvement. Audit and maintain ERP system entries to ensure company data remains of top quality. Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste. Create reports to present to senior management regarding processes etc. Oversee work schedules to ensure coverage. Maintain plant housekeeping and lay-out to ensure uninterrupted production. Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times. Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and building. Manage plant safety to comply with OSHA requirements.

Requirements

Proven management experience in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred but not required, based on previous work experience. Ability to analyze charts and graphs, read technical drawings, follow diagrams and manufacturing / inspection procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership, management, organizational and time management skills. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Able to sit, stand and walk around for long periods at a time. Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry.

Desired Qualifications

Previous mechanical/electrical maintenance experience. Previous experience using ERP software. Knowledge of ISO Quality management systems. Ability to operate a forklift. Salary will be commensurate with experience. 401K, Medical, Profit sharing.
