Overview

FleishmanHillard\xe2\x80\x99s Chicago office has an immediate opening for a Managing Supervisor with a strong consumer and brand communications background, preferably within sports or food and beverage. This position provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with collaborative teams on integrated communications programs entailing strategic planning, creative ideation, high-level media relations strategy and execution, influencer marketing, and overall client/account management.

Responsibilities

Integration Team Lead

  • Serve on the leadership team of a top client account that is a household name
  • Oversee integration team, including close partnership with account lead on client relationship management, as well as strategic review of all staffing, budgets, vendor management, event management
  • Partner with client relationship lead on overall account operations
  • Serve as integration lead on select priority programs, ranging from product launches to athlete announcements to broad creative campaigns
  • Work closely with partner agencies across integrated agency teams
  • Serve as lead on account measurement
  • Cultivate diverse teams and contribute to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Integration Team Responsibilities
  • Client relationship management, in partnership with account lead
  • Budgeting and vendor management
  • Workback development, management and adherence
  • Integration with strategy + planning team
  • Client response and coordination
  • Alongside media lead, lead communications and coordination with integrated agency team (IAT) for collaborative, 360-degree programming
  • Non-media material development (social copy, web copy, fact sheets, etc.)
  • Event logistics (when applicable)
  • Adaptation of comms plans for internal client usage / program selling
  • Crisis resourcing (when needed)
  • Reporting and measurement
  • Post-program tear-down + key learnings
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • The successful candidate must be highly detailed and organized, solutions oriented, results-driven, experienced in working with a cross-agency team, able to build and maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic counsel. Excitement for helping run a large-scale team is a plus. In addition, candidates should have:
  • Minimum of 6-9 years of consumer/brand marketing experience gained in an agency or a corporate environment, with an emphasis on media relations and influencer marketing. Sports and/or food and nutrition experience, in particular with CPG brands, is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Strong critical thinking and planning, with demonstrated experience in executing programs and events against a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, draw conclusions, make recommendations, establish reasonable timelines and areas of responsibility, anticipate costs, and identify measures of success. Candidate should have a polished executive presence and the ability to consult confidently and effectively with clients on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and executing strategic public relations plans on target and within budget.
  • Highly developed project management skills with experience overseeing the work of small teams and integrating with multiple agency partners.
  • Highly developed management skills with a proven track record providing leadership to junior staff.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Superior writing skills and proven creativity, with the ability to develop and edit high-quality materials such communications plans, bylined articles and presentations.
  • Financial acumen with the experience and ability to manage client budgets.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $82,300 - $130,000.

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
