Job Overview:

Keurig Dr Pepper\xe2\x80\x99s products are distributed through a complex route to market of Company Owned, Pepsi, Coke, and independent bottlers and distributors. The Licensing team is focused on providing broad, strategic, and transformative vision for KDP\xe2\x80\x99s route to market, which will allow KDP\xe2\x80\x99s current and future brands to meet their full potential.

The Manager Sales Planning & Analytics provides KDP with accurate route to market data to support all facets of sales, finance, marketing, senior management, and investor relations. This position manages a team who is accountable for the assignment and maintenance of distributor territory for all KDP trademarks and management of KDP distributor and sales hierarchies. This team leverages Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and analytical skills to develop maps of the bottler/distributor territory by trademark and assign the respective Counties/ZIP Codes in the Territory Management database.

Accountabilities:

  • Territory Management (50%)
  • Support the implementation, integration, and maintenance of Licensing and Distributor territory changes and resulting impact to case sales reporting, internal plans, and bottler/sales hierarchies for all brands and sales systems including National Accounts.
  • Data research for internal management and external departments affected by changes to CRM and Territory Management corporate master file. Research bottler territory and data integrity issues, which includes communication with all levels of management, field sales, and national accounts.
  • Manage territory, hierarchy, and customer setup process to support new trademark launches, acquisitions and company owned allied brand distribution.
  • Hierarchy Management (25%)
  • Process and maintain data for hierarchies, demographic, and customer master data that is stored in Territory Management, CRM and STARS, as well as maintain documentation of all requests/updates.
  • Research and maintain KDP Sales Accountability Hierarchy and External Bottler hierarchy to support personnel and bottler realignment and adapt to new sales or financial reporting requirements.
  • Developing People (15%)
  • Collaborate with team members and provide recommendations to management on enhancing processes and systems to increase team productivity and adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to support and grow team members and provide backup support for territory, hierarchy, and mapping operations.
  • KDP Route to Market Maps (10%)
  • Manage and assist in developing reporting and serving territory maps by distributor for all KDP trademarks. Monitor mapping functions, troubleshoot errors, and support process/system enhancements.
  • Maintain working knowledge of TM and related databases to respond to custom mapping and reporting needs of Licensing, Beverage Concentrates, National Accounts, Retail Customers, and IT.

  • Solid customer service skills to assist Licensing, Beverage Concentrates, and National Accounts staff
  • Aptitude to analyze territory and sales data, effectively develop maps, and communicate effectively with Licensing and other departments
  • Sound oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to assist others within a team environment
  • Drive to gather new knowledge and distribute that knowledge to the team
  • Positive interaction with Licensing Department, Beverage Concentrates, National Accounts Team, IT, and 3rd party contractors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment while ensuring high quality execution
  • Excellent work ethic and desire to learn and provide value to our team/customers
  • Proficiency in MS Office (All Applications)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Esri ArcGIS software
  • MS Access, Oracle, and SAP database knowledge is beneficial
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of KDP route to market helpful
