Demand Planning Analytics Mgr I

MAIN PURPOSE

The Demand Planning Analytics Manager I will be part of a fast paced, highly productive, dynamic, and engaging team and will report to the Demand Planning Center of Excellence. Demand Planning Analytics Manager I will be responsible for managing tactical improvements with key software providers, and for driving insights to the entire Demand Planning team through reporting and analytics

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Demand Planning Analytics Manager I, are to:

  • Look for ways to easily communicate Demand drivers translating Demand Planning tools technical language to key insights
  • Lead discussions with business and technical teams to decipher precise data science models from technical terms into more granular actionable bridges for the business
  • Develops, build, design infrastructure w/AI with automated, touchless, model-training, etc. while maintaining advanced analytics and reporting dashboards
  • Analyze, support and develop data warehouse objects, data quality processes, design and develop fact and dimension tables, logical and physical database design, data modeling, reporting objects, and ETL process
  • Apply a variety of methods including data mining statistical analysis, predictive modeling and analysis, pattern recognition, probability analysis and network analysis to solve complex business problems
  • Will lead upcoming end to end project for our Demand Planning team collaborating with key cross functional stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain Robotics Process Automation tools and become a member of our citizen developer community
  • Participate in key strategic Moonshot projects as well as Demand Planning Continuous Improvement projects (several upcoming ones) leading as the Demand planning SME
  • Work in cloud-based environment (AWS or Azure)
  • Solve brand-level analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Break traditional patterns of thought by generating and recognizing imaginative, workable solutions to business situations and problems
  • Reviews sales performance, insights data, key initiatives, and new item launches with brand and customer teams to ensure robust plans are in place and being executed

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
  • Demonstrated proficiency in forecasting and forecasting methods
  • Experience interrogating data, performing analyses, interpreting data, and presenting findings to business audiences
  • Experience with Machine Learning/Statistical Learning
  • Previous experience working with cloud-based data and analytics platforms, standard business intelligence dashboards, and data enrichment techniques
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and systems skills to contribute in a fact-based way in a cross-functional team environment where key stakeholders may have different points of view
Preferences:
  • 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Supply Chain
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science\xe2\x80\x93 4 years of experience in supply chain
  • An interest in, and some exposure to, one or more of the following tools & techniques: SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data processing and basic statistical methods
