What We Need:

We are looking for a Finance Manager - Demand Planning to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team.

Position leads quarterly and annual financial planning for commercial sales and products including S&OP submissions. Highly visible role, working directly with the organizational sales team, product merchandising, finance, and sales and operations teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Consistently provide accurate forecast deliverables within agreed upon timelines.
  • Clearly communicate key assumptions, risks, and opportunities incorporated into the forecast.
  • Lead significant ad hoc analysis as required by business conditions and leadership priorities to provide insights and enable decision-making.
  • Successfully train and develop Finance analysts.
  • Drive advancement of tools and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency across the forecasting process.
  • Develop positive relationships with business partners throughout the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional, problem-solving teams focused on solutions with long-term sustainability in mind.
What You Have:
  • This position requires a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting or finance and 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills in data mining, creation of visuals/tools and communication data.
  • Ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams who are not exclusive to sales, product finance, or operations.
  • Knowledge of the sales cycle, order management, product and financial process is desired.
