Our Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the hotel's maintenance and engineering operations. This includes ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all equipment, systems, and facilities within the hotel. Our Maintenance Engineer plans and executes maintenance projects and ensures compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs to ensure the hotel's facilities are well-maintained.

Conduct regular inspections of the property, identifying and addressing maintenance needs promptly.

Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including lighting, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

Maintain and operate all equipment and tools safely and effectively.

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.

Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects when necessary.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.

Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment.

Maintain an organized and clean maintenance workshop and storage areas.

Participate in emergency response and fire safety procedures.

Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and maintenance techniques.

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Must adhere to the company's grooming, uniform, and dress code policies.

Assist with varied projects as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.



High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field preferred.

Proven experience as a maintenance engineer or technician, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
