TFC Poultry is a family-owned business with the purpose to build a family culture for all those we influence to lead a healthy, balanced life. TFC Poultry is currently expanding and opening our second poultry production plant in Winchester, Virginia. We\'re currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor.

The Maintenance Supervisor will report to TFC\'s Plant Engineering Manager and will lead the maintenance team and processes to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and to maximize production capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives production maintenance notices and communicates the highest priority needs to the
• Maintenance team to ensure their timely and efficient completion
• Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize impact to production
• Effectively coordinates maintenance activities with production, warehouse, and quality
• Schedule outside contractors for completing repairs, preventative maintenance, and upgrades
• Lead and implement process improvements and machine efficiencies
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatments system
• Manage inventory of materials and parts, while scheduling with production, suppliers, and outside

• Manage and maintain eMaint CMMS software
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance as prescribed by eMaint CMMS software
• Work with USDA to ensure complete adherence to regulations
• Promote personal and company image throughout the community

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Three or more years maintenance related experience, prefer in a food grade facility
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Must be a self-starter capable of working in a team-based environment
• Technical ability \xe2\x80\x93 understand manufacturing equipment and processes
• Planning/Organizing- Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently
• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn Microsoft Office and eMaint CMMS software

Physical Demands and Requirements

• Prolonged standing/walking on concrete
• Prolonged exposure to cold working conditions
• Ability to climb stairs and work at heights above 4 ft. (on ladders and/or platforms) is common
• Environmental conditions involve prolonged indoor and outdoor work, including coolers and freezers
• May require pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
