Job Description

L3 Campus, specializing in student housing, is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our beautiful properties in Tallahassee, FL!

The right candidate will be well-rounded and able to perform a variety of tasks which include (but are not limited to) general maintenance skills, electrical, painting, cleaning/grounds/landscaping/trash management, etc. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage a team of maintenance technicians, coordinate repairs, and ensure our facilities are in top-notch condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and train maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work. Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maintain property aesthetics. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted services for specialized repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies. Collaborate with property management to budget and plan for maintenance projects. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to maintenance and safety.

Qualifications:

Strong maintenance experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Have general maintenance skills and basic tools Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Have good organizational, and communication skills, and a motivated attitude Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and vendors.
