Job Description
Maintenance Supervisor
Health Care Staff Needed at the Paterson Community Health Center, a provider of primary family healthcare services to some 14,000 patients- Ob/Gyn, Pediatrics, Adult Medicine, Podiatry, and Dental; dedicated to meeting the health care needs of the Greater Paterson New Jersey Community
Responsibilities:
- Direct workers and manage the work order process.
- Maintain and upkeep of all all preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
- Inspect completed work for compliance.
- Establish and adjust work order procedures to meet production schedules.
- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Participate in on-call rotation instructed by director.
- Supply ordering and management for all maintenance.
- Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
- Performs other related duties assigned.
- Maintain property tools.
- Able to perform all aspects of maintenance such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical and tile

While the Paterson Community Health Center, Inc., is a privately owned, 501(03, non-profit organization, it receives significant funding from the Federal Government and thus is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). As an FQHC organization the health center is requested to ensure that the majority of the health center\xe2\x80\x99s Board of Directors are health center patients. The health center\xe2\x80\x99s Board is (representative) of the health center patients and the Paterson, NJ community. By race and ethnicity, the board members are African-American, White, Latino and Middle Eastern. The board members bring to the health center a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of law, public safety, business, finance, health care and social services.
