Position Overview



The

Maintenance Supervisor

is responsible for ensuring the facility, its grounds, and equipment are properly maintained to provide a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.


Under the immediate supervision of the Executive Director, the Maintenance Supervisor will:

Provide excellent customer service to current residents by making building maintenance repairs and performing general upkeep. Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards. Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes related to the healthcare field. Possess general knowledge of specialized areas including electrical secondary systems, plumbing systems, fire system devices, and air systems.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare reports and maintain logs for various purposes, including regulatory requirements. Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking lots to ensure the safety of staff, clients, visitors, and vendors unless contracted to an outside firm. Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the facility's grounds. Perform routine painting and "touch-up" painting on interior walls. Inspect, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems. Move and repair furniture throughout the facility as needed. Conduct fire alarm drills in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Conduct operational testing of emergency power systems.

Qualifications



High School Diploma or GED required. Basic computer and communication skills required. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role required. Schedule flexibility required to accommodate client admissions, census, and facility needs. Must hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and provide insured transportation. Must maintain a positive demeanor and demonstrate clear professional boundaries with patients.

Compensation



$24 - $26 per hour
