Maintenance Mechanic

Rancho Cucamonga, Ca

Various shifts

Description:

-Visually inspects and tests heavy-duty industrial machinery and equipment used in aerospace manufacturing

-Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine

-Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts

-Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery

-Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment

-Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools

-Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts

-Maintains a safe and organized work station and follows all safety rules

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution

-Minimum of 3 years\' experience working in heavy industrial environment

-Must have experience working on machinery including CNC machines, grinders, hydraulics and pneumatics

-Must have electrical repair experience

-Pass the Vision Acuity Test (Vision Test)
