Description:

Metal X is a scrap metal recycling business. They have multiple plants that process materials, the Wabash facility which is a foundry. So they take material, melt it down and make different metal products. Their Wabash, Indiana plant is looking for Maintenance Electrician.

They will be responsible for sketching and following blueprints to determine the location of the wiring for the equipment. Will be running wire, conduit and tubing. Will be assembling, installing, testing and/or maintaining electrical systems. Also be inspecting electrical systems to ensure it is safe and is up to code.

It will be required to complete all electrical troubleshooting in the plant so must be very knowledgeable of 480, 110, 220, 440 and 3 phase electrical systems and able to read the electrical schematics.

This tech will not deal with mechanical PM\'s or issues on the plant floor.

Shift:

7am - 3:30pm (most likely will work until 5pm) will have to come in on Saturdays when needed. (1-2 a month at most)
