Duties

Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment including milling machines, lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, etc. Conduct routine inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to ensure compliance with quality standards. Adjust machine settings based on feedback from quality checks and production requirements to optimize efficiency and precision. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Handle materials safely using forklifts or other materials handling equipment; assist with loading/unloading raw materials and finished goods within the manufacturing facility or warehouse. Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, machine logs, and inspection reports for quality assurance purposes. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks including fabrication, welding, tooling setup, and packaging of finished products. Follow safety protocols diligently while operating machinery and handling materials; participate in safety training sessions regularly. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on machine performance and suggesting process enhancements.

Experience

Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation, CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) Familiarity with operating a variety of hand tools, welding equipment, stamping presses, press brake machines, and fabricating tools is advantageous. Prior experience in materials handling using forklifts or warehouse equipment enhances your ability to perform efficiently in this position. Strong understanding of quality control procedures along with the ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork are vital for thriving in our fast-paced environment.
