Machine Operator
Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team as a Neopure Tech. In this role, you will operate and monitor processing system used to treat chia seeds, ensuring efficiency, safety, and product quality. You will be responsible for loading materials, performing routine system checks, making process adjustments, and maintaining cleanliness and compliance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in machine operation, a strong sense of responsibility, and a desire to grow within food manufacturing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the quality and consistency of all chia Fulfill daily processing batches to meet packaging/output Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of applicator and dryer Control and monitor Chia inventories Accurate portioning of chia into hopper Development of Neopure and chia knowledge in respects to quality/safety, machine operation, process flow Complying with all certification and food safety standards Clean Neopure area and after each shift Take and dispose of trash at end of day Charging forklifts and maintaining water levels Maintain a clean and safe work environment in all areas of the warehouse Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Deliver consistent quality across various temp/humidity levels Detect and diagnose neopure system issues Able to accurately forecast chia needs for production Forklift certification preferred, must learn on site if not Able to lift (up to) 50 pounds on a consistent basis; 100 pounds with a buddy Able to work on feet for 8 or more hours Able to consistently reach and lift with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Able to change tasks quickly and work under pressure Team player with a positive attitude Self-motivated, willing to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Ability to work Monday-Friday, as well as occasional weekends Maintain timely and regular attendance * Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred
