Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Production Manager
Job Summary:
Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties at our commercial coffee roasting facility.
Essential Functions:
Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available Control and adjust the functions and settings of machines Feed necessary product to semi-automated machine Effectively monitor production equipment and test the operation of machines periodically Maintain activity logs during shift Ensure product accuracy in relation to weight, labels, count, etc. Maintain a safe and clean work space Follow established safety rules and regulations
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools High attention to detail Ability to multi-task and manage several moving parts at once Commitment to quality, safety and communication Team-oriented and self-directed
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift 25 pounds Ability to carry 25 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
