We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in mechanical systems, precision measurement, and manufacturing processes will ensure that production runs smoothly, meeting all quality standards. Duties
Set up and operate various manufacturing machinery stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CAM programming tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD files to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment using Fanuc controls and other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize machine performance.
Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including tooling changes and calibration checks to maintain optimal operation.
Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with warehouse organization and inventory management.
Skills
Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret GD&T specifications for precise machining.
Experience with CAD software like SolidWorks for design review or modifications.
Familiarity with factory safety protocols and the operation of hand tools and basic math skills for measurements.
Certification or experience in forklift operation; warehouse experience is a plus.
Knowledge of quality control procedures using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
Background in manufacturing or fabrication environments with hands-on experience in machining or assembly lines.
