Lumber Yard Laborer (Outdoor / Year-Round)

Atlantic Forest Products, LLC is hiring full-time Lumber Yard Laborers to join our team in Sparrows Point, MD. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position where you'll work outdoors year-round helping move, stack, and prepare lumber for daily operations and customer orders.

Requirements:

What You'll Do (Daily Work)

Lift, carry, stack, and move lumber and building materials throughout the workday Pull, stage, and organize customer orders accurately and efficiently Work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) Assist with general lumber yard duties including cleanup, organization, and keeping work areas safe Use basic hand tools as needed (tape measure, straps, etc.) Follow all safety procedures while working around heavy materials and equipment Growth Opportunity: Employees may have the opportunity to train on forklift operation as they gain experience and demonstrate reliability.

What We're Looking For

Ability to lift and move 40+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day Comfortable with physical work including bending, climbing, walking, and repetitive motion Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions Able to follow instructions and communicate with supervisors and coworkers 2 years of related labor/outdoor work experience required Forklift or equipment experience is a plus, but not required Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
