Job Description

We are looking for a delivery driver with a clean driving record to load and deliver customer orders.

Responsibilities:

Greeting and assisting customers Load customer orders Build loads for delivery and deliver to customer location Load, unload, and stock: lumber, building supplies, & hardware Operate forklift & front end loader Prepare customer custom cut orders Clean and maintain lumber yard and delivery vehicles Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

Proven work experience as a truck driver No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid PA Drivers License
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
