Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Duration: 12-week contract (Possibility of extension)

Pay rate: $40.00/hr. on W2

Job Summary:

Seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of an RN and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive safe, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, and vital signs. Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the RN or physician. Document all care, assessments, and observations accurately in the medical record. Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer of residents. Implement and follow care plans and physician orders. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team. Ensure compliance with facility policies, state, and federal regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents. Supervise and guide CNAs and support staff as needed. Participate in care conferences, training, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered LPN license in the state of New Mexico. Current CPR/BLS certification. Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (but not always required). Strong clinical and assessment skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
