Loan Officer Assistant/Loan Partner - Las Vegas, NV (Bilingual a plus) : We are in search of an exceptional mortgage professional to add to our top-tier, results-driven team. As the Loan Officer Assistant/Loan Partner, you will act as the "right arm" to our Loan Officer. This role requires an exceptional balance of guideline knowledge, processing skills, and sales acumen. The perfect candidate would ideally work from the "contact to contract" phase of the loan, enabling our Loan Officers to focus on the origination of more loans into the pipeline. This position will be local to Las Vegas, NV. Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral partners and borrowers.
  • Facilitate the completion of loan applications (digital/phone/in-person).
  • Gather and prepare all documents required for underwriting.
  • Structure loan files within specified parameters, such as running DU/LP, sending closing cost worksheets, etc.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for borrowers during the "contact to contract" phase of the loan process.
  • Submit detailed and accurate application packages directly to underwriting for upfront TBD approvals.
  • Stay current on mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) procedures and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with Sr. Loan Officers, Processor, Operations staff, Realtors, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve loan issues as needed.
  • Continually strive to improve knowledge and skills in your role.
  • Lead process and procedure improvements to consistently deliver a world-class experience to our clients and referral partners.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of continuous mortgage experience (5+ years preferred).
  • Previous Mortgage Broker experience is essential.
  • Proven experience with LendingPad LOS is almost a must.
  • Familiarity with the roles of LOA/Loan Partner, Processor, Loan Officer and/or Underwriter.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA), procedures, and documentation.
  • Proficient in analyzing credit reports, income, and asset documents, and general ways to structure a loan.
  • Knowledge of DU and LP.
  • NMLS license preferred or must be willing and able to get licensed within 90 days.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and have outstanding follow-up skills.
