We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Chef to join our culinary team. As a Line Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations during service. Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies. Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and special event catering. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices. Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Participate in shift management, ensuring that all stations are adequately staffed during peak hours.

Qualifications

Proven experience in culinary roles within the food industry, particularly in fine dining or banquet settings. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling. Excellent cooking skills with a focus on quality presentation and flavor profiles. Experience in inventory management and control within a restaurant or catering environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff.
