We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in various culinary settings, including fine dining and catering. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen management.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Assist in menu planning and inventory management to ensure efficient food production
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations
Manage shifts effectively, coordinating with front-of-house staff for seamless service
Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing culinary skills in various settings
Experience
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
Banquet experience is highly desirable, along with fine dining exposure
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff
Knowledge of inventory control and food handling practices
Familiarity with menu planning and food service management principles
Culinary experience that includes cooking techniques, food production, and kitchen management
Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service
