Job Summary:
Responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives within the company. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying and documenting business requirements; and ensuring that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget.

What You\'ll Do:
As an integral part of our Business Strategy and Engagement Office, you\'ll work to ensure the synchronization, communication, and relationship of initiatives across the FedEx Dataworks enterprise. You will be responsible for managing, supporting, and enhancing our operating model to assist teams and pods to manage outcomes and deliver value quickly. You will build strong relationships with our Data Science, Engineering, and Cloud Operations teams and help them in their day to day operations through execution. You will communicate the movement and progress status and risks from the backlog to the governing bodies. You\'ll partner with myriad groups across the entire organization including Portfolio Execution, Business Architects, Product, etc., as well as Leadership, to deliver information regarding the status of strategic initiatives and the overall performance of our operating model.
This role is an Individual Contributor role with projects that are solo efforts.

Opportunities:

  • Assemble, interpret, and identify trends to present high-level analysis to assist in guiding business decisions
  • Analyze and document requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization
  • Conduct risk analysis and monitor the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets
  • Responsible for preparation of formal management reports, status updates and presentations on projects
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
  • Perform other duties as required
Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of high-level architecture needs across projects and IT initiatives
  • Ability to self-manage and work alone on multiple business-critical projects
  • Ability to effectively lead multiple individual efforts
  • Process-driven with a bias toward action
  • Ability to work across many teams, creating order and consistency without bureaucracy
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong internal communication skills: Able to communicate complex data in a simple format to share decisions, process updates and tradeoffs to large audiences (i.e. in-person meetings, asynchronous meetings, email, and/or shared live docs).
  • Ability to manage competing demands while maintaining out of the box thinking
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years\' relevant experience in project and process planning and management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Knowledge of cross functional departmental processes preferred
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively lead multiple projects
  • Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal skills with ability to effectively multi-task
  • Comprehensive computer skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Business Objects
  • Comprehensive presentation, verbal and written communication skills

Additional InformationColorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, California, Rhode Island and Washington Residents Only - Compensation: Monthly Salary: $9,000.00 - $14,063.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
