Prepare fresh ingredients for sushi and other menu items (washing, cutting, portioning)
Assist with basic knife work under supervision (training provided)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep area
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Support chefs with basic kitchen prep and daily tasks as needed
Assist with ingredient prep for daily operations and specials
Help monitor prep supplies and report shortages to management
Qualifications / Skills
No prior kitchen experience required (training provided)
Basic knife skills or willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Reliable, responsible, and punctual
Ability to stand for extended periods
Food service or restaurant experience is a plus but not required
