Job Description


Global Supervisory Management is responsible for the supervision of investment sales activities in Chase Wealth Management, JPMorgan Advisors and JPMorgan Private Bank. The Strategy & Execution Team supports Global Supervisory Management by providing management oversight reporting, development of committee materials, ad-hoc analysis, the development of automated workflows and data visualization tools in addition to driving consistencies and operational efficiencies by developing and executing initiatives and strategies focused on process improvement and by managing projects end-to-end across the project life cycle to achieve strategic objectives.

As a Senior Program / Project Manager, you will be involved in setting the direction and executing on the strategic priorities of the Organization. You will participate in business transformation initiatives as an individual contributor, in addition to leading a team of Business Analysts / Project Managers. As an individual contributor, you may be involved in multiple projects or initiatives, working across the whole project lifecycle, researching new projects, business process changes, configuration changes or system modifications. Through strong partnership with Business, Operations and Technology counterparts, you\'ll develop and execute on project deliverables to achieve the key results of the department. As a leader of the Organization and a people manager, you will develop your team of Project Managers to think strategically execute on the book of work. Your guidance and influence as the voice of the Program will achieve the objectives of the department. Additionally, you\'ll assist in the overall coordination and management of the program, including status, scorecards, and other key project management functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the face of a Product. Set the strategic vision and execute on the objectives of the product, achieving measurable key results which align with the goals of the Organization
  • Establish strong working relationships with project sponsors, business stakeholders, Technology, Operations, Product, Risk, Control, Compliance, Legal, and peers
  • Partner closely with Technology (and other dependent resources) in communicating the business needs, system release prioritization, and tracking/monitoring progress throughout the project life cycle
  • Develop and lead a high performing team
  • Conduct data analysis, data collection, and synthesis to translate into empirical solutions or evidence that can optimize project reporting
  • Conduct project planning and analysis, including creating detailed project plans, documenting business requirements, detailing issues and problems, and drafting business and technical work/data flows
  • Escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Develop and contribute concise communication materials for senior management

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
  • 5+ years of prior Wealth Management experience required; preferred roles in Middle Office/Wealth Management Operations (Brokerage/Managed/Annuity), Controls, Digital Wealth Management
  • Working knowledge of investment industry regulations and regulatory bodies (FINRA, SEC, OCC) required
  • 5 - 10 years project management / business analysis experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects of varying size and complexity
  • Experience with Agile methodology and the Product Operating Model framework
  • Ability to develop and influence a high performing team
  • Can perform most or all of the job functions with limited support; constantly seeks to acquire business acumen independently; can deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to command concise and organized meetings in an effective manner - with a specific purpose and intended outcomes
  • Independently identifies situations to escalate to managers or above. Can succinctly formulate the message to be escalated, including potential options and impact to our business and mitigation steps or corrective actions
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management
  • Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills
  • End-to-end project management experience, including scoping, business case development, implementation, and change management
