Job Description
The City is looking for a talented, customer service oriented, adaptable technologist to fill an IT Technician position in the Employee and Technology Services Department.
What will this person do?
- Provide customer service and technical support functions for the City\'s Information Systems (IS) communication systems, computers, and users
- Install, configure and repair computer hardware and software
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems, document solutions
- Maintain computer systems, desktops, printers/scanners, and peripherals
- Two (2) years of computer support experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with others
- A passion for the work; including, networked environments, peripheral devices, and web technologies
- A desire to seek knowledge and a willingness to learn and grow
