About This Job
Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for a Senior Application Administrator. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and develop new enterprise application architecture within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform
• Perform enterprise application maintenance, including: patching, upgrades, configuration, migrations, backup & recovery, monitoring, troubleshooting, debug, and testing
• Conduct capacity and performance analysis to optimize reliability, cost, and performance
• Provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations
• Implement DoD processes and controls to comply within the applicable NIST Risk Management Frameworks (RMF) regulatory requirements
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to provide documentation and artifacts to support and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) reviews and assessments of the applications and platform
• Work with internal and external organizations to define and implement various customer user level requirements, including resolving elevated end user support requests, and researching and deploying advanced technologies
• Provide technical assistance, training and system documentation for users to promote efficient operation of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required degree and years of relevant experience for this position are as follows:

• High School Diploma: 11+ years of experience
• BS/BA Degree: 7+ years of experience
• MS/MA Degree: 5+ years of experience

Required Experience & Skills:

• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
• Experience designing content management and data taxonomy
• Experience setting and managing user permissions
• Experience with troubleshooting, proactively identifying issues and driving them to resolution
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with team members, various levels of management, and internal clients with assorted levels of computer experience
• Committed to results and success in accomplishing goals
• A fast learner with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn technologies and understand unique system requirements
