The Leidos Sentinel C5ISR Task Order, part of the Leidos Defense Group, is looking for an IT Service Desk /Hardware Asset Specialist to support US Army Central G2. The Sentinel G2 Army MI Enterprise provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems as well as network administration support for an organization comprised mostly of a Microsoft Enterprise software environment residing on multiple networks.

**Please note, based on the customer requirement, this position requires a candidate to hold an active Top Secret SCI (TS SCI) DoD security clearance. Candidates with this level of clearance only will be considered. **

What you will be doing in this position:

Oversee a variety of help desk functions to ensure effective and accurate completion of customer help desk requests

Ensure processes used by the service desk are thoroughly documented, consistently audited, and regularly improved

Assist users with basic software training in Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Acrobat, OneDrive or similar collaboration tools made for the enterprise and other applications

Monitor day-to-day incident management system to ensure proper resolution, ticket escalation and third-party involvement

Install, configure, and troubleshoot workstations, networked printers, scanners and other peripheral devices

Ensure hardware inventories are organized, labeled, and provide asset tracking for various computer and A/V hardware and assist with property book activities

Research and recommend hardware purchases and configurations to meet client needs

Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic support for all related VTC/DVTC systems, equipment failures and service issues

Schedule DIA JWICS Video Teleconferences and de-conflict scheduled conferences as needed

Track and submit monthly metrics

Participate in or lead special projects and day\xe2\x80\x90to\xe2\x80\x90day operations as needed or assigned by the site lead

Skills and experiences you must have:

Active TS/SCI clearance required

Hold and maintain DoD 8570 IAT Level 11 certification, CompTIA Security +

Requires high school diploma or equivalent

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Prior professional IT and/or Help Desk experience.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and related services

Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN and networking infrastructure

Additional skills we are looking for:

JWICS VTC scheduling experience

Experience with ticketing systems, ServiceNow, Remedy, SolarWinds Web Help Desk, etc

Experience in troubleshooting Adobe Acrobat Reader issues

Computing Environment certifications: Microsoft Windows 10 MCP, Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA A+, and Network+, ITIL Foundations

US Army client and network experience

Pay Range: Pay Range $39,650.00 - $61,000.00 - $82,350.00
