Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Service Desk Specialist to join a federal DoD program located in Arlington, VA. The Service Desk Specialist will be responsible for providing tier I and II Help Desk support for end-users, including VIPs.

The Service Desk Specialist will be providing support on a 24x7x365 basis. Available shifts include:

\xc2\xb7 Monday-Friday 6am-3pm

\xc2\xb7 Monday-Friday 2pm-11pm

\xc2\xb7 Wednesday-Sunday 11pm-8am

\xc2\xb7 Saturday-Wednesday 6am-3pm

\xc2\xb7 Saturday-Wednesday 11m-8am

Responsibilities of the Service Desk Specialist include:

\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot and resolved tier I and II issues related to system inquiries, requests, incidents, software installation, printer support, and hardware support

\xc2\xb7 Provide expertise in managing a variety of hardware and peripherals including desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, video conferencing units, and Smart Boards

\xc2\xb7 Interact with end-users with professionalism and excellent communication skills

Qualifications for the Service Desk Specialist include:

\xc2\xb7 2+ years of Help Desk, Service Desk, or Desktop Support experience

\xc2\xb7 IAT Level II Certification or higher required (Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP)

\xc2\xb7 Secret Security Clearance Required

Compensation for the Service Desk Specialist include:

\xc2\xb7 Salary Range: $60,000-$73,000 **depending on experience**
