Job Description


Our J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Communications team is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented writer to help us keep our advisors engaged, and who can help us execute the communications strategy for our Chase branch-based investment channel.

The Communications role is critical to ensure our advisors in the field have timely information. This job requires producing timely communications, planning town halls, drafting and editing presentations, managing distribution and providing advice in communication matters. If you have a passion for storytelling, you love grammar, spelling and punctuation trivia, you\'ve found your home. If you like to curl up with a good AP Style Guide, we are the tribe of nerds for you.

As a member of the Content & Communications team, you will also provide support when needed to all advisor-based investment channels, which include remote advice and office-based advisors. J.P. Morgan Wealth Management clients can invest digitally, remotely or in person by meeting with an advisor in one of our more than 4,800 branches and offices.

Main responsibilities:

  • Project manage major communications initiatives
  • Liaise with our business to create a consistent voice across materials
  • Draft and edit internal communication articles
  • Use internal technology to track engagement of internal communications and offer advice on the best strategy for reaching employees
  • Prepare presentations for and participate in meetings with senior business and client stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and manage stakeholder needs and expectations
  • Assist with and manage other content projects, including J.P. Morgan Wealth Management\'s intranet

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Communications experience and Bachelor\'s degree required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Superior writing skills with versatility in format, including technical writing, executive messaging and copy editing
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working on daily, sometimes urgent deadlines
  • Must be a quick study of complex or technical topics and be able to simplify those concepts into clear, precise writing
  • Ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively and effectively, in a group setting and communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to recognize and respond well to changing priorities; focused, accurate and organized
