The

IT Support Specialist Intern

will assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of a wide variety of software and hardware packages. Respond to user requests and provide technical assistance. Hardware includes but is not limited to Windows and Mac computers, and iOS devices. Software includes but is not limited to Windows Operating System, MacOS, Microsoft Office software, Citrix, Exchange, and various insurance and accounting software packages. Provide Systems support, support via telephone, video conferencing and in person. This position supports internal and external users.


Here's what to expect:




Provide technical assistance via phones, email, remote support, or in-person to internal and external customers. Install and configure applications, system software, hardware and local peripherals; diagnose and resolve various equipment problems. Identify complex issues, and forward unresolved support requests to senior team members for resolution Recommend procedure modifications and improvements and contribute to technical documentation and FAQs in appropriate areas.

Here's what it takes:




Active undergraduate or graduate student that has a GPA of 3.0 or higher with a preferred field of study in Computer Science or related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
