Integrated Marketing Manager (Good Apparel)

The Integrated Marketing Manager will support and assist the Group Marketing Leader (Senior Manager Integrated Marketing) by driving JCPenney growth and awareness through integrated marketing campaigns for one of five pods (Beauty, Good Apparel, Latinx, and Signature and Diff). In this role, you\'ll be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns, building brand campaign plans and defining tactics for owned and partner brands. You will lead the execution of integrated communication plans for a collection of brands and products in the group. These plans will balance short term revenue goals with long term brand value and other corporate goals. Interpret and leverage all market data associated with your brands and group, consumer research and category trends (retail/fashion/product/service/consumer) to define the branded integrated content direction for optimized marketing ROI.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute integrated marketing plans that leverage a mix of tactics and messaging executed via digital, social media, email, events, PR, and content marketing to support growth of; business, corporate brand, and owned/partner brands for a sub set of brands or groups of products ((Beauty, Good Apparel, Jewelry and Home, Latinx, and Signature and Diff).
  • Contribute to seasonal messaging strategies by integrating the key brands and products into the defined customer story and content plans.
  • Provide recommendations on product application and association with content plans and messaging strategies.
  • Partner teams across marketing and creative on the development and execution of all marketing collateral, including advertising, promotions, and digital assets.
  • Partner with media, content and channel planning teams to define the integrated marketing needs of defined categories, brands and products to deliver marketing performance goals, asset needs and executional requirements.
  • Partner with National Brand partners to deliver joint marketing initiatives and tactics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop brand guidelines, messaging, and creative assets that align with the company\'s merchandise strategy for owned brands.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of campaigns with KPI\'s and metrics and adjust plans as necessary
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
  • 5+ years of experience in brand or integrated marketing, with at least some experience leading one or two team members ideally in different industries / categories like consumer brands, consumer packaged goods, retail or fashion.
  • An undergraduate degree in Marketing or Communications.
  • Experience developing and implementing successful integrated marketing campaigns that leverage a mix of tactics including digital, social media, email, events, PR, and content marketing.
  • Strong track record in retail marketing and advertising for consumer packaged goods, retail or consumer brands where you developed clear end effective marketing programs.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, channel strategy, media planning and overall marketing principals
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, leadership skills, ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and knowledge of marketing trends/best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, use analytical skills to solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities a plus.
